(Last Updated On: December 9, 2020)The transition to the third quarter of the year brings with it cooler temperatures and amazing fall foliage. With so many travel plans disrupted this year, there’s one thing that you can still do, though, and that’s hop in your car and take in the beauty of the season. And luckily no matter where you live you can probably find some distinctive leaf patterns and colors that you can view. And if you time it just right, you can locate the peak foliage time in order to catch the colors like no other.
One thing, though, if you are driving around and need a place to stay, you should probably book in advance. Plenty of people also have that idea—to drive and take in the foliage. There are lots of types of places to stay, however, from homes to cabins, campgrounds, and yurts. What else do you need to know? This graphic explains it.
